About the Author

God did not put me on this planet to be the world’s foremost expert on leadership. I’ll leave that to the legends like Maxwell, Covey, Lencioni, Willink, Sinek, and  Edmondson.

My edge isn’t thought leadership. It’s synthesis and teaching. And when my career reached the point where I was responsible for developing new leaders, I made a decision: they were not going to learn leadership the way I did, through years of trial-by-fire. 

What I needed was a way to teach leadership that didn’t require decades of experience or stacks of books just to become competent.

Leadership needed a shared language. A clear set of moves and plays. A practical taxonomy that made it easier to learn, easier to practice, and easier to teach in real time.

Because leadership, when stripped down to its essentials, is just as teachable as any other discipline.

Leaders aren’t born. They’re made.
